Day 1st
Your arrival in Krakow by air or train, where you are welcomed by our driver. Transfer to a hotel located in Krakow centre. Time to relax or private walks and arrangements. An overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 2nd
Breakfast, guided tour of Krakow: the Main Market Square with famous St. Mary’s Basilica and historical trade pavilions of the Cloth Hall, the Royal Route, Wawel Hill with its impressive, renaissance Royal Castle and Cathedral. Moreover a walk round the Old Jewish Quarter - Kazimierz, where Steven Spilberg came to shoot "Schindler’s List". Afternoon time for a gift shopping. Dinner with live music at a regional restaurant in centre of Cracow. Next, an overnight stay at a hotel. (B,D)
Day 3rd
Breakfast and a tour of the day (to choose from the list below):
a) Wieliczka Salt Mine - a visit to the famous Royal Salt Mine with a numerous underground chambers, chapels and salt sculptures; (half-day tour)
or
b) Auschwitz – Birkenau - the largest German Nazi concentration camp from the II World War; (half-day tour)
or
c) Czestochowa – Jasna Gora – the Black Madonna monastery – Poland’s spiritual heart and one of the most important pilgrimage centre in Europe; (whole day tour – extra charge of USD 60 / person)
or
d) Zakopane – “the winter capital of Poland” and the Tatra mountains with breathtaking views, unique folk culture and dishes, which you may taste during a lunch in regional restaurant; (whole day tour – extra charge of USD 60 / person). An overnight stay at a hotel. (B)
Day 4th
Breakfast and transfer to the Krakow airport or railway station, where your visit to Krakow ends. Possible your tour extension and departure by an express train to Prague or Budapest, or Vienna, where you come later that day, for a next three-day visit in one of the famous Central Europe capitals.
